Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO)

Our laboratory offers exciting Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO) for students who wish to deepen their knowledge in the field of applied robotics at the university.

Program Description

Our PCTO provides students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in practical and innovative projects, offering a hands-on perspective on the applications of robotics in the marine and educational domains. During the program, students will have the chance to:

  • Actively participate in ongoing research projects.
  • Collaborate with experts in the field of marine and educational robotics.
  • Acquire practical skills in the use of advanced robotic technologies.
  • Deepen their understanding of the relationship between architecture and robotics.

How to Participate

Individuals or groups of students may have a background or inclination in classical, scientific, or technical fields (various specializations). It will be the responsibility of the research group to guide them on different aspects once a group presentation with CV and a cover letter in PDF or PowerPoint format is received. The presentation should clearly highlight project of primary interest. Proficiency in tools within the following categories:

  • Programming.
  • Mechanical drawing.
  • Physical/mechanical simulation.
  • 3D printing design.
  • Electronic design.
  • Technology for the realization of electronic circuits.
  • Knowledge of web programming/gaming.
